Dashboards

These are the windows into your business.
Dashboards are the monitors that trigger you to look deeper when you notice a swing. Like the stock market, when a stock jumps or drops, one of the first things most investors do is see if they can see what caused the change. A good investor, or sometimes a lucky one, researches the stock to try to anticipate what is going to happen. That research enables them to make a more informed buy or sell decision. They do not always maximize their financial outcome, because it’s not a 100% predictable market, but they can improve their chance of success.

A business dashboard is like a stock market monitor.
It keeps you informed and indicates when you need to investigate a dip or rethink an effort. If the sales strategy and revenues are not as expected, we use our dashboard to help you monitor the overall progress of key areas, then to drill down into the pieces to determine what part(s) of the business are not performing as planned. From there you can create steps to fix the non-performing piece(s).

An example of a performance enhancement problem.
A major vendor was selling chairs via the Internet. They were selling a lot of chairs, and were losing money doing so. The cost of the chair was fine, as was the price. The problem was in the internal handling. The company tracked the time to process orders. It turns out each chair required almost twenty minutes to pack because they needed to be folded and manually handled. The company solved the problem by changing the box and eliminated most of the order processing time. The chairs became profitable. This is the kind of thinking we bring to your business.
